Siobhan Clarke has extensive overseas experience as a barrister in the United Kingdom and as Deputy District Judge in the civil division presiding in cases involving contractual disputes & tortious claims, personal injury, insolvency & cost assessments. She was called to the NSW Bar in 2023 and is a barrister with broad-spectrum litigation skills.
Siob (pronounced Shiv) was also granted a ‘ticket’ to sit in family law matters by the Family Division of the High Court in London.
She has eleven years of experience working as a solicitor in NSW, principally in Family Law property & financial matters, together with some Hague Convention cases both in Sydney and London. As counsel, Siobhan continues to practise in matters relating to Family Law as well as Hague Convention cases in both Australia and the UK.
Siobhan was formerly a solicitor member of the Legal Aid indictable criminal law panel.
She also holds NMAS accreditation and is on the NSW Bar Association list of accredited mediators and has been an adjunct lecturer with the College of Law in Sydney since 2018.
Siobhan is interested in costs work and is a member of the Bar Association costs and fees committee.
Siobhan maintains her UK practising certificate so that she can conduct cases or mediations with an international (Austra-Anglo) aspect.
