Mark was called to the NSW Bar in 1991 after 8 years of practice as a solicitor. Prior to coming to the Bar, Mark practiced in regional NSW primarily in criminal law matters before transitioning into commercial work where he ultimately specialised as a barrister.
Mark now regularly appears in the Supreme Court, District Court, and NCAT, accepting briefs across a broad range of commercial disputes. He has extensive experience representing and appearing both for and against property developers in cases involving real estate, commercial, and construction-related issues. Mark is also accredited in alternative dispute resolution, allowing him to provide clients with effective solutions outside of formal litigation.
In addition to his busy practice as a barrister, Mark dedicates time to serving his community as a volunteer with the Rural Fire Service.
