Leon Apostle specialises in criminal law and family law.
Mr Apostle commenced his career as a solicitor for the Legal Aid Commission of NSW practising within the criminal law and family law divisions. Prior to being called to the bar Mr Apostle was employed by the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT where he continued to pursue his passion for defence advocacy. Mr Apostle became an accredited specialist in criminal law as a solicitor.
At the bar, Mr Apostle has considerable experience conducting jury trials and has appeared in numerous trials for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions as a non-salaried Crown Prosecutor.
Mr Apostle has built a strong practice in family law and continues to appear at both interim and final hearings (involving parenting and property disputes) before the family courts.
