Anthony Strik

Anthony has a trial and appellate practice in family law and criminal law, with related work in administrative, licensing and disciplinary matters.

Anthony was called to the bar in 2018. Before coming to the Bar he was a Senior Solicitor at the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. I have served in both the police and military.

In family law, Anthony appears in parenting and financial proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, at first instance and on appeal, including in Franklyn & Franklyn [2021] FamCAFC 112. In crime he appears from bail applications and local court hearings through to trial and appeal, and in coronial inquests and various proceeds of crime proceedings.

Anthony also appears in occupational licensing and disciplinary review in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and in the Federal Court, including in Salah (formerly HGMZ) v Secretary, Department of Social Services [2022] FCAFC 186. He accepts briefs in employment matters, including in the Fair Work Commission.

He appears before the Duty Judge in Supreme Court Interlocutory Matters including, TNAL507 Pty Ltd v Saliba [2026] NSWSC 647.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce.

He is happy to accept briefs in family law, criminal and administrative and licensing matters, and appears throughout NSW and in the federal courts.
